Lizzie Velasquez gets a lot of looks. The 23-year-old mature at Florida State School appears 5 legs, 2 " wide high and is just 58 bodyweight.
“My abdomen is so small that I cannot eat that much,” she said. “So about 50 percent an hour after consuming I’m prepared to eat again. I treat a lot just to keep my energy up.”
The cause of Velasquez’s problem – so unusual that it has no name – is a secret. Only two other people are known to have it, and plenty of inherited assessments have appeared nothing.
Velasquez was created by urgent C-section with a weight of just less than three bodyweight – 1 / 2 what was predicted for the 36-week maternity. And ever since, she is been poked, prodded and looked out by a multitude of physicians trying to identify and treat her strange situation.
“Once I got to about age 13, I type of got sick and exhausted of it,” said Velasquez, who besides her weak shape and loss of sight in her right eye is amazingly healthy and balanced. “I noticed I do not really want a treat for this problem. If a physician found a fast solution or some surgery treatment that would help me put on bodyweight, I would not want it. All the battles I’ve had made me who I am these days.”
