The 'Stay' singer - who unveiled her first fashion line for British high street chain River Island at London Fashion Week on Saturday (02.16.13) - Revealed she has wanted to launch her collection in the UK Because She thinks Brits Have the MOST fashion sense.
She Told Grazia magazine:'' Britain has the most fashionable kids in the world. These kids inspired the high-end designers - they say what's cool. So why not to go to the source When You want to be ahead of the trend and create something inspirational and fresh? That's why I wanted to work with River Island.''
The 24-year-old Bajan singer's daring Separates collection features colored neon, saucy thigh-high splits and crop tops and Rihanna commented That She's wanted to launch her own line for quite some time.
She added:'' I've wanted to design my own fashion line for a very long time now. It's been something I've thought since I started loving acerca fashion. Every time I saw a garment on the rack there was something I wanted to change, so I felt like the only way I could do that was by designing the perfect thing for me.''
